Kvass from Lida is first mentioned in the documents dated 1920. During Soviet times kvass becomes a popular drink — yellow barrel on trailer with the «KVASS» letters on it was familiar to every citizen of Belarus. In 2006, «Lidskoe pivo» made a kind of a technological leap: it was the first of the Belarusian manufacturers to sell kvass in plastic bottles
