Three Years of Impressions and Discoveries: Lida Brewery Museum Celebrates Its Birthday

March 29, 2022, on the birthday of Lidskae Piva, saw the opening of the Lida Brewery Museum, which became a special present for employees and consumers alike.

The museum first opened its doors three years ago and since then has become one of the most in-demand tourist attractions of the country. This claim is decidedly backed by numbers: in 2023, it was visited by 22,597 guests, while in 2024 this number reached 32,106 people. The record attendance was registered on August 11, 2024, when the museum received 292 visitors. The absolute highest number of guests, however, was achieved during the Lidbeer Festival, when 535 people enjoyed a short tour of the museum in a single day!

The list of visitors includes Belarusians as well as guests from nearby and faraway countries. The geography of the guests’ native countries is impressive: China, Australia, India, the United Kingdom, the USA, and so on... Thanks to that, we are growing and currently preparing to offer tours in English and Polish languages in addition to Russian and Belarusian. Not every museum can boast such customer focus!

Over the course of three years, the museum has been expanding its display with new interesting exhibits and bold experiments. The first temporary exhibition, Art Hops, created in collaboration with the FARBA gallery, started in December 2024. The exhibition presented the link between art and drinks through images of characters from famous paintings and creative tabloid covers.

There’s always something interesting in the Lida Brewery Museum. For example, if you decide to visit the museum this spring, in addition to the permanent display you’ll be ablel to see the exhibition of photographs made by employees of Lidskae Piva JSC as a bonus.
