Lidskae BeerMaster is expanding its format and, for the first time, is inviting both professional bartenders and mixology enthusiasts to participate. The new Lidskae BeerMaster 2026 Fan Edition competition offers the opportunity to become part of a landmark bar industry project, compete for prizes, and establish yourself alongside the professionals.
The competition is timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Lidskoe Pivo and runs alongside the professional competition. According to the organizers, launching a separate competition for amateurs is a way to highlight the development of a drinking culture that values taste, concept, and aesthetics, as well as responsible consumption.
Anyone over the age of 18 with no professional bar experience but an interest in experimenting with cocktails is welcome to participate. Participants will be asked to develop a signature cocktail, consider its concept and visual presentation, publish a photo of the drink on social media, and send their application to beermaster@lidskoe.by with the subject line "for the competition." As in the professional portion of the competition, the anniversary varieties "Yantarnaya" or "Rubinavaya" can be used as the cocktail base.
The competition itself will be held in two stages. The qualifying round will last until May 13, after which the jury will select 10 finalists. The best cocktails will then be featured on the project's website, and the winner will be determined by open online voting. For participants, this is not only the next stage of the competition but also a chance to present their signature concepts to a wider audience at a key industry event.
Furthermore, all amateur finalists will receive an invitation to the grand finale of the professional portion of the Lidskae BeerMaster 2026 competition. The best cocktail in the Fan Edition category will be announced there on May 28. The winner will receive commemorative merchandise commemorating the 150th anniversary of Lidskoe Beer, a visit to the Lida Brewery Museum for up to four people, and a certificate for two to attend the "Bar Amateur" crash course from the Bar Portal bartending school. Each finalist will receive a competition diploma.
Detailed rules and conditions are available on the official Lidskae BeerMaster 2026 website in the "Amateur Bartender Competition" section.
