Become the Best Belarusian Barmen and Win a Money Prize for Personal Development: Lidskae Beer Master Bartender Contest Kicks Off in Minsk

Lidskae Beer Master Contest includes several stages:

1. From March 20 to April 14, anyone aged 18 or older can sign up for a webinar at lidskaebeermaster.by, where speakers will share their knowledge of the history of beer culture and intricacies of bartending. The webinar is available both to professionals taking part in the contest and amateurs who want to know more about the bartender’s trade or learn how to make cocktails for their friends.

2. The webinar will start on April 17, 2:00 PM. The list of speakers includes Oleg Malakhov, Chief Brewer of Lidskae Piva; Anton Hadarovich, Chief Bartender of LIDBEER; Anatoly Rachevskiy, BarPortal specialist; and Jan Senkevich, blogger and stage speech coach. After completion of the webinar, all participants registered as bartenders will undergo testing. Thirty contestants with the best results will progress to the next stage of the contest.

3. From April 19 to May 15, each of the thirty semi-finalists will have to develop and present a cocktail recipe created in accordance with the rules posted in the Contest Requirements. Based on the results of this stage, the jury will choose the top ten contestants.

4. The final stage will take place on May 29, when the finalists will present their cocktails to jury members live in one of LIDBEER bars. The jury will determine the winners based on the creative aspect of the entry (name and originality of serving), brand integration, format, presentation, and, last but not least, the taste of the cocktails. The finalists will have to serve their drinks to bartending industry professionals, media personalities, and managers of Lidskae Piva.

The first prize will be 8,000 BYN; the second and third prizes will be 5,000 and 3,000 BYN respectively. In addition, the winning recipes will be included in the drink menu of LIDBEER bars. 

We once again remind you that the webinar is open to everyone aged 18 or older. The requirements for the contestants wishing to compete for the top prizes are as follows: at least 19 years old and at least 6 months of bartending experience. 

Professional bartending contest Lidskae Beer Master has been conducted by Lidskae Piva since 2015. The format of a creative competition provides a unique opportunity to boost professional skills both to bartending specialists and to amateurs fond of preparing cocktails at home.
