Beer Museum and Restaurant opens in Minsk: a unique space where everyone can embark on a gastronomic journey through the ages

The one-of-a-kind museum and restaurant has opened on the historical Revolutsionnaya street in the very heart of the Belarusian capital. It is a unique space where the many years of brewing history come to life across three floors, and the traditional Belarusian cuisine gets a new twist in the company of the legendary drink.

The museum includes four thematic halls. Every visitor finds themselves in a medieval tavern with massive oak tables, dimmed lights, and forged interior elements. It is followed by the age of modernity, represented by the reconstructed building of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Smooth outlines of the furniture, shimmering crystal chandeliers and the sounds of piano will take you back to the times when beer culture was a symbol of high society and exquisite taste. The next hall dedicated to the times of the USSR recreates the atmosphere of a Soviet restaurant: agitation posters on the walls, Paparats-Kvetka cutlets on the menu, and, of course, legendary Soviet glassware: faceted glasses and beer mugs. This place is filled with the atmosphere of simple and accessible joy, where beer was not a delicacy, but rather a part of the everyday life.

The culmination of the museum is its third floor with the Brewery Chronicle: 1876 through Today exposition. This is the heart of the LIDBEER project that is fully devoted to the history and legacy of the Lida Brewery. Here, the guests of the museum can trace the entire journey of the company: from its founding in 1876 by Lida entrepreneur Nosel Pupko to the status of the modern industry flagship. The exposition includes exclusive archive materials, personal belongings of the founders, beer labels, and modern product samples.
