Craftsmanship in Every Facet: Lidskae BeerMaster 2026 Now Open to Applications

Lidskae BeerMaster Bartending Contest opens a new season and invites bartenders from all around Belarus to show themselves and compete for prize money. On the year of Lidskae Piva’s 150th anniversary, the contest received a special theme and a number of updates.

Lidskae BeerMaster 2026  is dedicated to jewels of all kinds. The organizers suggest basing cocktails for the competition on the aesthetics of precious stones, shimmering minerals, pieces of jewelry or stories and legends associated with them. Entries will be based on the new anniversary varieties, Yantarnae and Rubinavae: this year, participants are free to choose any of the two options, which provides more opportunities for creative concepts.

Same as in the previous years, any bartenders from Belarus aged 19 or older with at least 6 months of experience in the industry are free to enter the contest.

Registration is already underway on the project's website, while the applications with finished recipes and developed concepts will be considered from March 17 to April 6. Based on the qualifying round, the jury will determine 30 semi-finalists, and 10 strongest contenders will present their cocktails in the final round on May 28.  The prize fund will be distributed as follows: the winner receives 8,000 Belarusian rubles, while the second and third place get 5,000 and 3,000 rubles respectively.

Audience choice award will be handed out as well. The winner in this category will be selected by guests of the bars and restaurants as well as visitors of the website through open online voting.

“We suggest interpreting beer as a precious material that can reveal itself in a multitude of facets in the hands of the master. This year, we expand the horizons of the project, inviting both professionals and amateurs, to create a new page in the history of Belarusian bartender craft together,” noted representatives of Lidskae Piva.

The launch of a separate section for amateur bartenders will become one of the most significant additions of the seventh season. They will also take part in a contest of cocktails based on anniversary varieties. The winner will be determined by online voting and receive special merchandise celebrating Lidskae Piva’s 150th anniversary, as well as free tickets for a company of 4 to the Lida Brewery Museum. Finalists of the amateur section will be invited to the grand finale of the professional competition.
