Following the global trend: FIZZ cider is gradually lowering alcohol content

JSC “Lidskoe pivo”, following the global trend to reduce the alcohol content in products, continues to lower the FIZZ cider alcohol content. Previously, the company reduced the percentage of alcohol in apple and plum ciders, and seasonal novelties were also released in accordance with global trends. Now the turn has come to the FIZZ Pear: the volume fraction of alcohol in it has been reduced from 4.7 to 4.5%.

The changes have already affected the product in 1 L PET bottles, and soon, approximately from the middle of July, FIZZ Pear with reduced alcohol content will be presented in 1.5 L PET bottles. In the meantime, two variations of FIZZ Pear are available in stores: with 4.7% and 4.5% alcohol content, respectively.

Recall that FIZZ cider is a low-alcoholic beverage made by natural apple juice fermentation. At the moment, classic apple cider, as well as pear, plum and seasonal cherry flavored FIZZ are available to Belarusians. The FIZZ brand is owned by the Finnish company OLVI and has been produced since 1994.
