On June 24 (Saturday) all interested citizens will be able to check their level of knowledge of the Belarusian language during the «Total dictation» — special social and educational event by JSC «Lidskoe Pivo».
The idea of the project is to give every Belarusian a chance to check their knowledge of the Belarusian language and support the desire to improve knowledge.
The initiative will start in the National Library. All interested persons will be able to come there at 12 o’clock and write down the text of the dictation in Belarusian. NOTE: Based on the difficulty of the text, we recommend that only the persons above 18 shall sign up for the dictation.
The project will be a kind of present from the company for the 950th anniversary of the Belarusian capital — the organizers have prepared a special text about Minsk, and the roles of readers will be played by famous Belarusians.
All texts of the participants will be checked by professional philologists. The results will be sent via e-mail.
The participants who will receive the highest marks for the dictation (10 points) will receive special prizes from the organizers.
Please, pay attention: the number of participants is limited, therefore, fill in the application form on the project page in order to take part in the dictation.
The participants will gather for registration at 12:00. The dictation will start at 12:30. In order to get to the hall where the dictation will take place, the participants shall enter through the right side entrance of the Library (from the side of «Megapolis» restaurant, 2nd floor).
